The Shoot by Bubble Fish
Close your eyes for me, just for a minute. And imagine you have booked your family session with Bubble Fish Photography. You have had your consultations and styled your entire family to the exact vision you’ve dreamt of (find more details on that here). You’ve prepared yourself and your family for this day, you are all dressed and ready to go. You have piled everyone and all the gear for your session into your car and arrived at your session location! Now open your eyes!
Welcome to Your Family Session with Bubble Fish Photography!
Your session will likely start with an excited greeting from myself (the goofy gal 👆) to you and your family. If you have elected to use a dress from my client closet, this is the point where I will show it to you and show you where to get changed. While you change, I will chat up the tiny humans and start plotting our play time (I mean session time 😁) route. Once you get done changing and your hubs retrieves his jaw from the floor, we will embark. You see, most of the time, the good exploring spots aren’t right by our vehicles.
Once we set off exploring, the camera starts going. During your family session you need not look at the camera the whole time. We will likely start off with what I like to call the Grandparents pose. This helps do 2 things. One being give us an image of all smiles for grandma, the second thing being it gets your entire family in one space. From here, we can play and explore. We can tickle and snuggle. We can love and enjoy each other from this one pose. Once we get this one out of the way, your entire session relaxes.
I will encourage you and your kiddos to play. I will ask you guys to do things like explore the settings around us. You guys can sing, dance, play, explore and run all around. Whatever makes your family tick, that is my goal to capture. That does not mean we won’t have some down times either. We will do things like snuggle on a blanket, possibly even lay down on it. We will spend time jumping and playing, but we will also snuggle and hug. Every aspect of a family from the rough and tumble to sweet and serene is what we want to capture here.
Your family is 💯the focus of this session. Which means we will have more than pairings than all of you together. We will get some of the parents of course, after all you two are the foundation for your family. We will also get some of each tiny human alone, with each parent, and with each sibling. You see, the combinations can seem almost endless to some. But for me, this is where things can be incredibly fun! I will definitely do my best to cover every combination possibility and creating an amazing experience for your entire family to remember.
Beautiful images are not the only thing I will be creating at your family session. On top of photographing your family, I will be taking video clips as well! These will come together to make a family film (like the one👇). Just another way to cherish the season you are in. Because I am taking video as well, I may ask you to do something again for me. Or I may ask you questions about each other. I promise you, there is a method to my madness. And you will be grateful to have endured it once you see what it creates.
When we have had our fill of fun, we will wrap up the session. This is where I break out the age-appropriate goody bags for the tiny humans. And also, where we schedule your Personalized Image Reveal session. By this time everyone (including myself) is probably exhausted from fun.
