That is where R Littles Boutique comes in. Shelby Runshe and her husband Craig have started a boutique in Monticello buying and selling gently used children’s clothing. Starting this business in November of 2022 was a no brainer for them. “I have two small boys and after being frustrated with lack of places to sell and buy gently used children’s clothing in the area, I started my own. I grew up loving to go and have garage sales with my mom. And honestly who can pass up a good deal!?” Shelby said.

Shelby says “I hope to eventually open a storefront or have a trailer to go in and around white county. I hope to serve all parents who are tired of spending too much money on clothes their kids grow out of after 1 or 2 wears. Also somewhere to make some money off of the clothes their children can no longer fit into.”. As a Momma living in White County, this was truly exciting to hear. Not having to make that near hour drive (one-way) only to wind up disappointed sounds amazing to me.

Not only does Shelby want to bring the community with children’s clothing, but she also has a heart for serving this community as well. Shelby has this to say when asked what she dreams of doing with this business “Make enough in profits to give back to groups and programs that work with children.” Who doesn’t want to support a local cause like that. Especially coming from not just a local business but a local family as well.
