Booking Bubble Fish

Are you ready to update those family portraits on your walls? Or have you realized your kiddos have apparently gotten into the miracle grow and are no longer tiny!? If either of these sound like you, then you are in the right place Momma! Below, I will walk you through what the process of working with me looks like.

Step One

You realize you desperately need a family portrait session, and somehow you have landed on my website (totally awesome right!). And after browsing through some awesome family photos like the one above, you think this is the kind of art you are looking for. You head over to the contact page and fill out the super easy inquiry form! Cue my happy dance (see below). Within 24 hours of submitting your inquiry you will receive contact from me. That moves us onto the next step.

Step Two

Now that we have established the means of best contact, you and I will chat about all your needs from your family portrait session. You can tell me all your wishes for this experience as well as any reservations you may have. And trust me, I will put those fears to rest! Once we have addressed all your needs (and probably already became friends), I will send you the link to your custom experience. Yes, you read that correctly Momma! All sessions are a custom experience that come unique to each family. You will check out your custom offer page while we chat. And once you are in love and ready to move forward, we head to booking. I will send you your custom booking link where you will pay your session fee and secure your date! Eeek!

Step Three

Step three is probably the most fun you will have before your family session. This is where we brainstorm the look of your family session. Yup, that means outfits and accessories. I have a client closet full of dresses and accessories for you doll! Once we pick out your outfit we move onto the tiny humans (or the not so tiny ones) then onto hubby. I will put together a custom style board for you. This will contain any links you may need to find outfit pieces. This step is also super helpful to get you and your family (yes even your camera-shy hubs) excited for your family portrait session. From here, the only way to go is to your Family Session!

Step Four

This step is legitimately the MOST fun! When you arrive to our previously agreed upon location, you will find me likely bouncing off the preverbal walls with excitement. I will probably stumble over introductions (including my own name) and get to know your beautiful family a bit more. I will explain again that this experience is meant to be fun and full of the love your family already has within it. I will let you know that the kiddos get to lead the direction of the session and help me find the most exploration-worthy spots. I remind you that this session does not need you to stiffly smile and look at me. We are there to explore together and love on each other. You only need look at me when I ask, and there will even be times I ask for a silly face (like the image above). Your family session is not meant to be stressful, so I will often ask you to relax and snuggle up to a family member. And thankfully, because of all our earlier chatting, I will be able to pull out fun things that mean something to your family (think dancing, singing, stuffies, blankets, bubbles). If at any point the session becomes stressful or tense for you or anyone else in your family, please tell me. I will redirect until it isn’t, or we can reschedule if need be. Your family session is not on anyone’s timer, and we only play till we have what we need. I will remind you of all these things before and during your session. Once we have begun packing up the items and kiddos, I will bring up the next step.

Step Five

Once we are in the “ready to go” mood at the end of your family session, we will schedule a day for your Personalized Image Reveal. I know, exciting right? This is also known as your ordering appointment. Every person who is involved in the purchasing decision needs to be at this Image Reveal. This session will be where you see all the art created from your family session. It can take place in your home or at a coffee shop (or a such like place).

If you choose to hold your Personalized Image Reveal in your home, it can include the entire family. I will arrive at your home and plug my laptop into your television. I will then stream all of your family art for all the “ooohh’s” and “aaahh’s” and probably the Momma tears. You can see right in your home exactly how you want to display or cherish your art. This session is where you are able to order all products created from your family session right from the comfort of your home!

Should you choose to hold your Personalized Image Reveal in a public forum, it may be best for just Mom and Dad to be there. We will meet at the agreed upon public place and find a cozy spot to relax. I will show you your family artwork on my laptop and trust me it can be just as tear jerking. This is also the time when you will be ordering your heirloom quality artwork.

Either location for your Personalized Image Reveal can and will work for the purpose intended. It is also a customizable experience. Either way, you order your heirloom quality artwork made from your family session. And then we move onto step six.

Step Six

This step is usually Mom’s favorite one. This is where I hand deliver (or mail if necessary) your Heirloom Quality Artwork! You get the excitement now, right? I will probably be as giddy as you! Watching you open your products is like Christmas morning for me! I will likely even snap a couple cellphone photos. It is seriously so fun for me. I can even come in and help your display your artwork if you’d like. I love this part so much; I sometimes have a hard time keeping calm.

See how easy this process is? Seriously nothing to worry about. I am with you every single step of the way. There is no step here that you have to do alone. What part of this process are you looking forward to the most?
